Resource Recovery UK: Powering Britain’s Circular Economy

Through modern and efficient infrastructure, our members – Cory, Encyclis, enfinium, and Viridor – divert waste from landfill and recover valuable resources as by-products, providing electricity and heat to UK homes and businesses.

RRUK is an affiliate of the Environmental Services Association, advocating on behalf of the sector to promote EfW’s role in the pathway to green growth, net zero and a circular economy - one where materials are reused, repaired, and recycled to their fullest potential and where the value of residual waste is maximised through resource recovery. ​

Our members are investing in advanced decarbonisation technologies, including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology, and leveraging waste as a resource for heat networks to provide their neighbours with affordable, low-carbon heat.
